“This is an important milestone for EHR Doctors. We can now confidently partner with provider organizations in their quest to achieve meaningful use and to qualify for incentive funds under ARRA.
Pompano Beach, FL (PRWEB) November 8, 2010
EHR Doctors, Inc. has received certification for its Privacy and Security and Exchange of Clinical Information Electronic Health Records (EHR) modules, known as MediBridge for VistA/CPRS. This certification deems the MediBridge for VistA/CPRS software capable of enabling providers to meet the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). MediBridge for VistA/CPRS was tested and certified by the Drummond Group's under the Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program. The certification indicates that MediBridge for VistA/CPRS is 2011/2012 compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
“This is an important milestone for EHR Doctors. We can now confidently partner with provider organizations in their quest to achieve meaningful use and to qualify for incentive funds under ARRA. Perhaps even more important, our solution helps spread EHR adoption and interoperability, and will further the government’s goal of moving health care to new levels though Health IT,” says Gerard Reeder, President of EHR Doctors, Inc.
MediBridge for VistA/CPRS, which met the requirements for 170.302 (O) and (V) and 170.306 F certification, delivers a comprehensive solution to securely and privately exchange clinical health infromation. Drummond Group’s ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that EHR modules meet the meaningful use criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. In turn, health care providers using the EHR systems of certified vendors are qualified to receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology -- a key component of the federal government’s push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. health care providers.
Drummond Group is proud to work with leading health care vendors and help them offer certified technologies to health providers across the country. With more than ten years of software testing experience carried out in several industries, we are confident in our ability to offer an effective and cost-efficient testing process to the health care industry,” says Ric Drummond, CEO of the Drummond Group. “The snowball effect could mean great things for clinical care in our country. We can help IT vendors certify their EHR systems – vendors can then help providers implement the EHR solutions to achieve meaningful use and receive incentive funds – and ultimately providers can leverage the systems to improve clinical care across the nation.”
