Pittsburgh-based InventHelp® attempts to submit clients' inventions to companies for review.

Pittsburgh, PA (Vocus) November 5, 2010 -- InventHelp®, America’s largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients from California has signed a licensing agreement with Danco. Danco is one of the largest manufacturers of plumbing products in the United States.

The InventHelp® client designed this idea, the Pop Up Trap, because he was tired of hiring plumbers to fix clogs in the drain. The patent-pending product allows a user to fix the clogs without the use of a snake or disassembling the drain. It also blocks items, such as jewelry, from falling down the drain.

Intromark Incorporated, InventHelp’s sister licensing company, met with Danco, a company registered in the InventHelp® DataBank, and presented the Pop Up Trap. Danco is a major manufacturer in the plumbing field, and carries a significant share of the pop up drain market. Danco expressed significant interest in the product and licensed it.

Danco will both manufacture and distribute the product, with hopes to have it on store shelves in about a year. Danco’s distribution network includes stores such as Home Depot, Lowes, True Value Hardware and Ace Hardware, among others.

From 2007-2009, InventHelp® has signed Submission Agreements with 5,336 clients. As a result of our services, 86 clients have received license agreements for their products, and 27 clients have received more money than they paid us for these services.
