Trim-it-Quick, makers of the new hook-strand-design lighting systems, has teamed up with TackyLightTour.com for the “Brilliant is Better” Christmas contest giveaway.
The contest, hosted at tackylighttour.com/registration/contesttrimitquick.aspx, asks participants to record themselves on video answering two questions: Why do you want to own a Trim-It-Quick lighting system? How would you use it?
Videos will be judged for creativity and prizes are as follows:
- First prize is a Trim-It-Quick 10-12 ft. premium lighting kit with 1,950 lights, valued at $159.99.
- Second prize is a Trim-It-Quick 8-9 ft. premium lighting kit with 1,400 lights, valued at $129.99.
- Third prize is a Trim-It-Quick 6-7 ft. premium lighting kit with 1,000 lights, valued at $109.99.
Trim-it-Quick lighting systems are easier to use and provide better results than traditional string lighting. Unlike anything else on the market, these lighting systems are based on a revolutionary “hook-strand” design that provides full, uniform coverage from the inside out — from the trunk of your Christmas tree to the tip of each branch.
The hook-strands are made up of individual light strings that originate at a hub, the center of the tree, and are spread outward along or around each branch to its end. This system provides lighting throughout the tree, instead of just around the surface, and permits “gradient” lighting — lights can change color and/or intensity from the inner portion of the tree to the outer branch tips.
A multi-port extension cord, which runs from the base of the tree up through the center near the trunk, ties the system together and allows for many lighting configurations.
TackyLightTour.com — the brainchild of Richmond, Va., native Matt Burgess — features maps, tours and interactive guides to homes that go “over the top” in decorating for Christmas.
Launched in 2005, users across the world quickly found the site and registered by the hundreds. It garnered more than 50,000 page views within the first month, and has evolved into the best guide to decorated homes throughout the world.
