“The fine balance of communications, design, and usability can deliver significant returns.”
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 9, 2010
On November 11th, UEVision will host their third annual “Design Matters” Open House in celebration of World Usability Day. The event will be held at UEVision’s offices from 6-8 pm in the penthouse suite of the old Hamm's Building, an office building at 1550 Bryant Street in San Francisco's Portrero Hill neighborhood.
“The fine balance of communications, design, and usability can deliver significant returns,” says Sarah Kling, UEVision CEO. “At UEVision we work with clients to create happier customers and increased profits by delivering the perfect product user experience.”
World Usability Day was developed by the Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA) as an annual day of focus on usability issues and solutions. The UPA supports companies and advocates who enrich usability and improve user experiences. UEVision’s event will focus on how everyday items can be designed to have the ideal mix of sustainability and usability.
Participants will bring examples of common items they believe are either well designed or poorly designed, and UEVision will show everyone how making minor changes to the poorly designed items can translate into products that are both sustainable and significantly easier to use.
