Foundation for Asia Pacific Education Announces $2,500 Donation from Educational Software Company Terra Dotta to Support Study Abroad Scholarships

The $2,500 donation from Terra Dotta, a leading educational software provider, supports the non-profit Foundation for Asia Pacific Education in its mission to assist North American students in gaining cultural and academic experiences around the world.

The Foundation for Asia Pacific Education today announces it has received a $2,500 donation from Terra Dotta, a Chapel Hill, N.C.-based company specializing in web-based enrollment and risk management software for educational offices of all sizes.

The donation will assist the foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, in its mission to raise funds to support North American students in gaining cultural and academic experiences around the world.

“This generous donation from Terra Dotta, a leading educational software provider, will play an integral role in our efforts to give much-needed financial assistance to students who otherwise might not have the opportunity to study abroad,” said Foundation Chair Christie Doherty. “It also speaks to Terra Dotta’s strong commitment to easing the process of study abroad so more students might experience the benefits of international education.”

Terra Dotta, which means “learned world” in Italian, was founded by Brandon Lee and Garrett Christian in 2001. Their vision is to enhance the delivery of learning capabilities and the administration of schools and other educational organizations through web-based interfaces available on any computer or mobile device connected to the internet.
