Phoenix-Based Marketing and Communications Firm, ideas*Collide Announces New Employees, Growth and Awards

ideas*Collide, a Marketing and Communications Agency in Scottsdale has Added Four New Team Members to Assist with their Growing Client List and Expanding Projects. The Addition of Employees Comes in the Wake of Much Growth and Success.

New clients and projects added to ideas*Collide’s roster includes Vitamin Water, online travel reservation company, Utell® and RMS Commercial Real Estate.

This year, ideas*Collide has expanded with an addition of 2651 sq. feet to office space, and a 75% increase in revenue. In addition, the agency has added a video production and sound studio to its office space. ideas*Collide was recently recognized for its work and received a GOLD HERMES CREATIVE AWARD for the magazine advertising campaign “Meridian Bank: The Art of Banking” and a Phoenix American Marketing Association SPECTRUM Award for a Direct Response - Loyalty Campaign Gold Canyon’s The Candle Game.

New clients and projects added to ideas*Collide’s roster includes Vitamin Water, online travel reservation company, Utell® and RMS Commercial Real Estate.

New employees include Amy Ashurst who will assist the ideas*Collide creative team with concept campaigns, brand identity, packaging, interactive design and unique collateral for clients and internal agency projects. Ashurst recently graduated from Arizona State University’s School of Innovation having received recognition for the creative development of an eco-friendly educational toy designed specifically for children with autism on which the patent is pending.

Jodi Dempster comes on board as a senior account manager with over 10 years of extensive experience on both the corporate and ad agency side of the marketing and advertising industry. Jodi’s career includes a top New York advertising agency where she supported advertising efforts for leading hotel brands Doubletree Hotels and Hilton Hotels. Before joining ideas*Collide, Jodi worked for Best Western International where she led creative teams, launched new marketing programs and managed leading brand initiatives and partnerships.

Meghan Bas joins ideas*Collide as an associate project manager with a strong agency background that includes a variety of skills including copywriting, creative services, competitor research and account services. She has worked as a media planner for clients such as Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television. Bas will manage a variety of marketing efforts including a focus on media planning and search engine optimization account management.

James West – who joined ideas*Collide as an intern earlier this year – has accepted a project coordinator position to assist the agency in social media efforts and search engine optimization projects. James recently graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Brigham Young University where he garnered real-agency experience working in the university’s Ad Lab agency that services clients throughout the country.
