In addition, we will demonstrate how the latest version of our nXT platform better enables law firms, corporations and government agencies to manage their litigation review process.

iCONECT Development LLC, a world leader in litigation support and collaboration software, today announced a full slate of activities centered on the company’s advanced eDiscovery solutions during this weekend’s Legal Information Technology Conference (LIT-Con) 2010 show. Two of the company’s senior team members will preside over speaking engagements, including COO Ian Campbell moderating a panel on risk management and director of training Victoria Edelman, J.D., presenting on eDiscovery project budgeting. Also, the company will demonstrate a recently launched version of its core review product, nXT 830.

“Our presence ideally aligns with the theme of this year’s LIT-CON, ‘Mitigating Risk and Maximizing Revenues with Information Governance,’ as we specifically address issues around risk management and eDiscovery project budgeting during our session presentations,” said Campbell. “In addition, we will demonstrate how the latest version of our nXT platform better enables law firms, corporations and government agencies to manage their litigation review process.”

Campbell will moderate the event’s closing session on Sunday afternoon at 12:35pm, entitled “Leading the Charge: Guiding Risk Management Into the Future.” Presenters include Fred Krebs, President, Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC); Joy Heath-Rush, Past President, International Legal Technology Association (ILTA); and Diane Carlisle, CRM, Deputy Executive Director, ARMA International, discussing the impact of risk, records and technology initiatives on litigation support service products. The panel will cover the implications of the ACC’s value challenge for risk, records and technology; how ARMA International’s GARP® principles help firms look at and manage risk; and ILTA’s Law 2020 initiative and how it advances law firm risk-management efforts.

Edelman will present on “E-Discovery Project Budgeting” on Saturday at 11:30am, detailing how to manage expectations and avoid costly surprises for eDiscovery projects. The session will cover strategies to identify what basic information to collect to prepare an eDiscovery project budget, determine what tools or processes will be needed for the project, run “what if” scenarios to determine return on investment (ROI) and eliminate guesswork on project costs.

Demonstrations of the company’s core product nXT 830 will be performed at iCONECT’s booth outside the event’s main presentation hall.
