Seattle, WA (PRWEB) November 8, 2010
BuiltBurger, an artisan burger brand that has delivered handmade, all natural patties to national doorsteps for the last 16 months, will open its first brick and mortar location in the historic district of Pioneer Square in Seattle. The grand opening is slated for November 8th, where the flagship store will unveil a rotating assortment of flavored burgers, in which creative ingredients are captured INSIDE the patty.
David Makuen launched BuiltBurger in 2009, trading the corporate world for the pure pleasure a great burger brings. For David, burgers were an early passion after grilling on his first Weber at age twelve. A self-professed burger-nerd, his friends poke fun at his obsession with the perfect patty.
BuiltBurger revisits the classic burger in a revolutionary way. In a world where toppings can easily kill a patty, BuiltBurger makes the patty the star between the bun. Signature flavors include: the Supreme Pastrami, a custom blend of all natural beef, locally sourced Pastrami, dill pickles and many mustards; the Magnificent Chorizo with local Mexican chorizo, a fresh daily grind of beef, roasted poblano peppers, cotija cheese and cilantro; and the Sriracha Beef with ginger, basil, carrot, soy, garlic and Sriracha sauce. Housemade BuiltDips like Chinese mustard, sweet chili aioli, and smoked harissa ketchup will play supporting roles to the specials of the day.
Builts are fearlessly bold, highlighting global ingredients that create memorable and craveable flavor profiles. Finished on a custom organic bun, Builts are accompanied by savory potato beignets or hand-cut fries, sprinkled with Secret Stash Sea Salt. On a sweet note, BuiltBurger will be the exclusive downtown merchant for an assortment of Trophy Cupcakes, voted Seattle’s best cupcakes by numerous publications.
The search for your favorite burger experience is over.
About Pioneer Square:
Pioneer Square is the world’s door to Seattle. Today, it’s home to art galleries, cafés, bookstores, and the landmark Smith Tower. In the Great Seattle Fire of 1889, all of the earliest wooden structures burned to the ground, with the exception of where BuiltBurger stands today. Located on a sloping hill with 19th century architecture and old barber shops, its character has stood the test of time.
