SNL Financial, in collaboration with Debevoise & Plimpton, will host the inaugural Insurance M&A Symposium on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at Le Parker Meridian hotel in New York City.

Produced by the SNL Center for Financial Education, the Symposium will feature a strong line-up of speakers, including Rob Henrikson, Chairman, President and CEO of MetLife, and James Wrynn, Superintendent of Insurance for New York State.

Panel discussions will focus on:

  •     Recent transactions and deal characteristics
  •     Regulatory developments and their impact on deal approval

  •     Negotiating a transaction and closing the deal
