Des Moines, IA (Vocus) November 8, 2010
Eileen White, vice president of Global Marketing & Communications at CDS Global, has been named to the board of directors of the American Heart Association, Des Moines Division. In this role, White will help lead the achievement of the association’s mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke through oversight of local revenue generation and health impact activities.
White brings many years of experience to the board, having served CDS Global in leadership roles in both sales and marketing before being named to the company’s executive team in November 2009. In her current role, White directs CDS Global’s lead generation, vertical marketing, global marketing and communications functions, including public relations, events, advertising, earned media and sponsorships.
“Having had heart disease and stroke affect my family, I am committed to being part of the effort to end these diseases,” said White. “I look forward to working with the board to raise awareness through community outreach, fundraising and activities that support the organization’s mission.”
“Eileen brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our local board,” says Steve Weber, co-owner and executive vice president of Iowa Home Care and chairman of the Des Moines Division board. “As we work to reach all Iowans with our message of prevention, advocacy and education, her marketing strengths will be a great asset.”
