The town’s Domino’s store is sponsoring the Worcestershire Schools under 16 girls football team throughout the 2010/11 county schools season.

Anil Patil, franchisee of Domino’s in Worcester, said: “As a local store, we’re very keen to deliver more to our community and are delighted to support the Worcestershire Schools girls football team. We’d like to wish them all the very best and look forward to celebrating what we hope will be a great season for them with a Pepperoni Passion or two!”

Gary Barrell, a physical education teacher at Nunnery Wood High School and manager of the Worcestershire Schools under 16 girls team, said: “Like all clubs and groups, we need the support of local businesses to keep going and I’m delighted to welcome Domino’s on board. The sponsorship is a great boost to the team. We hope this is the start of a great relationship with Domino’s and look forward to working with them on other fundraising initiatives for the team such as our forthcoming quiz night.”
