Over $32,000 worth of creative services and marketing materials donated

Five non-profit organizations from the Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey region were the beneficiaries of free advertising and marketing services provided by Hypno Design, a Moorestown, New Jersey based marketing and communications firm, through its eighth annual CreateAThon™. During the 24-hour work-around-the-clock effort, the CreateAThon team produced 21 projects valued at more than $32,000. The creative work ranged from logos and branding materials, to brochures and bookmarks, custom illustrations, photography, print advertisements, and even websites.

The 2010 CreateAThon clients included: Treehouse Books; Devereux New Jersey, The Alice Paul Institute; St. Catherine Labouré Medical Clinic; and Habitat for Humanity/Camden Re-Store. These agencies were chosen from more than 75 applications Hypno Design received this year from local non-profits applying for help.

CreateAThon began on Thursday, October 7th, at 8:30AM and ran through until 1PM the next day. Clients starting pouring into Hypno offices at 8:30 on Friday morning to review and proofread the final work. The clients were “blown away” by the strength and quality of the work. “There are not enough words or volumes loud enough to express the gratitude we feel towards you all. We are overwhelmed, to say the least, with the work you did for St. Catherine’s. The quality and creativity of your work is amazing and for sure we would never have been able to accomplish this without all of you and the time you dedicated,” said Cindy Messerle, St. Catherine's Director of Development.

Hypno’s non-profit CreateAThon clients also received professional printing services and paper donated from Burlington Press, of Burlington, New Jersey.

These generous contributions allow us to provide a complete creative solution to our CreateAThon clients,” said Alison Judah, President and CEO of Hypno. “We give them everything they ask for, for their marketing needs, all the way through to the printing of thousands of pieces of print materials, all at no cost. Rich Lewis, the owner of Burlington Press, is very generous, and his people do great work too, printing the designs we come up with for the non-profits.”

Hypno’s CreateAThon output is part of an international effort in which over 19 companies in the US and Canada join efforts to help organizations in their own communities. The total market value of work produced and donated by the international CreateAThon network of agencies this year, is estimated at more than $2.25 million.
