They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks

November 11 is the day to remember that the freedoms we enjoy today have been bought with the sacrifices made by men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces. Their blood, their wounds, their mental anguish and their lives have paid the price for our liberty and our opportunities for the pursuit of happiness. Immigrants from around the world have streamed to our shores to partake of the freedoms United States’ veterans have bought for us. Veterans Day is the day to pay tribute to America’s citizen warriors. We owe them a debt that’s impossible to repay.

To celebrate the service of friends and loved ones, who chose to fight for and protect us and preserve the freedoms we all enjoy today, Pro Tool Industries in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, will offer the original, handcrafted Jungle Fighting Knife used by the U.S. military since 1941 and made from all-USA materials in a Veterans Limited Edition. Known by the military as the LC-14-B, this tool was used for self defense and hand-to-hand combat against enemies with bayonets and sabers in every United States war from WWII to Desert Storm. Soldiers also cleared-out paths through jungles and treacherous terrain and created and built blinds and bunkers from which our servicemen could fight with the LC-14-B.

As times have changed, this same LC-14-B has been transformed from a wartime tool to a peacetime tool, being used to clear-out brush, build campsites and whack-down weeds and bushes around homes. No other tool better exemplifies the words of the Holy Bible in Isaiah 2:4, “They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks”

To commemorate each individual veteran’s commitment to his country, Pro Tool Industries will engrave for free on the blade of each Veterans Limited Edition LC-14-B purchased: the name of the war in which a veteran served; his or her name; his or her unit’s name; the date of the war; and the words, “I was there.” You’ll also receive a numbered Certificate of Authenticity for your LC-14-B, which also comes with a lifetime guarantee. Go to http://www.protoolindustries.net, and click on the splash page to receive a free copy of the original instruction booklet, “Fighting with U.S.A. Knife LC-14-B.” For every Veterans Limited Edition LC-14-B purchased, Pro Tool Industries will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Pro Tool General Manager, Mark G. Scheifley, states, “It is important that we never forget the freedoms we enjoy today have been protected and preserved by thousands of American soldiers– our guardians of freedom and the American way of life. As our way of honoring America’s freedom fighters, Pro Tool Industries has developed a program with the LC-14-B to enable civic organizations, such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, to raise money for their organizations or for the Wounded Warrior Project.
