Club Assist has launched a unique software to streamline all administrative functions for its mobile battery service.
The new electronic point of sale system captures transaction data and seamlessly incorporates it with the customer database for completely automated invoicing at the roadside. The state-of-the-art software is designed for real-time inventory management from the factory to the service delivery truck. It supports using a scanner to integrate bar codes from inventory and diagnostic reports.
“Technicians complete more than one million roadside battery installations each year, and this new software will deliver an amazing improvement in the speed and quality of those transactions," says Don Felts, President of Club Assist North America. “Our aim is to use this software as an entry point to even more automation benefits for our mobile solutions.”
The new ePOS software will be used by AAA and CAA clubs on a variety of hardware platforms, including netbooks, rugged PDAs, and various in-truck terminals. In addition to speedier transaction times, the new software also will aid in automated data capture for improved member service and business procedures. Customers will have real-time access to this data via My.ClubAssist.com, allowing queries and reports.
