NALMCO gives the Lumina Award in recognition of extraordinary leadership, dedication and commitment to NALMCO and the lighting management industry.
Yorba Linda, CA (PRWEB) November 11, 2010
Ray Pustinger, Precision-Paragon P2’s vice president and general manager, was recently honored with an international award recognizing leadership in the lighting management industry.
The interNational Association of Lighting Management Companies (NALMCO) gives the Lumina Award in recognition of extraordinary leadership, dedication and commitment to NALMCO and the lighting management industry.
Pustinger, who serves on NALMCO’s board of directors, helped spearhead the PEERS Alliance (The Program for Energy Efficiency through Responsible Stimulus), a grassroots initiative that sought matching government funds for existing state and utility energy efficiency rebates.
He assisted in the creation of the peers-alliance.org Web site, cultivated support from key sponsors and communicated the importance of the alliance to government officials and industry leaders.
Along with two other members of NALMCO’s board, Pustinger traveled to Washington, D.C. in the fall of 2009 to personally meet with members of Congress to increase the awareness of NALMCO and the PEERS Alliance.
Pustinger has been active in the energy efficiency industry since 1989. He joined Precision-Paragon P2 in 2001 and has managed the business’s growth from a regional company with annual revenue of $3 million to serving energy service companies nationwide with $44 million annual revenue. He holds one of NALMCO’s highest professional certifications – the CLMC, or Certified Lighting Management Consultant.
Pustinger received the Lumina Award at NALMCO’s 57th Annual Convention and Trade Show held in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
