San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 14, 2010
Ideally located at Embarcadero Center, across from the iconic Ferry Building and steps from the California Street Cable Car line, Hyatt Regency San Francisco has a host of holiday plans to entice revelers from near and far. It may never snow outdoors in San Francisco, but this year the downtown San Francisco hotel is predicting snowfall in its dramatic atrium lobby throughout the holiday season. Complementing thousands of cascading lights and a 45-foot tree, snow will fall three times a day in the San Francisco luxury hotel's lobby, from November 19 through December 31, 2010. This is a brand new tradition for Hyatt Regency and is poised to become one of the city's most celebrated holiday trademarks.
The hotel will host a number of holiday-themed events, including a tree-lighting ceremony, a daily holiday happy hour in the downtown San Francisco hotel's restaurant, Eclipse, as well as special Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Eve menus and San Francisco hotel packages.
In collaboration with the San Francisco luxury hotel's Embarcadero neighbors, the hotel will participate in the Embarcadero Center's Exterior Illumination and Skating Show, the Embarcadero Holiday Skating Rink, and the Embarcadero Waterfront Walk.
Kicking off the holiday season, the hotel's Tree and Interior Lighting ceremony will be held Friday, November 19, 2010. Immediately following the Embarcadero exterior lighting and skating show ceremony, at 7:00 p.m., Hyatt Regency San Francisco will celebrate the start to the season with live entertainment and the first snowfall in the lobby. Completing the staged entertainment and the grand finale lighting will be other family entertainment including costumed characters and carolers roaming the lobby.
The San Francisco luxury hotel's Holiday Package features deluxe accommodations for one night, two skating passes for Embarcadero Center's ice skating rink (adjacent to the hotel at Justin Herman Plaza), a shopping discount booklet and discount vouchers for stores at Embarcadero Center (with preferred shopping status). Starting at $169.00, this package is valid from 11/19/10 to 12/30/10, based on availability. Request offer code SKATE at the time of booking to reserve this offer.
Hundreds of little ones will tell their holiday wishes to the big man in the red suit while enjoying a fabulous breakfast buffet with scrumptious selections for kids of all ages at the San Francisco hotel's Breakfast with Santa at the Eclipse Restaurant and Lounge. On Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to noon during the holiday season, Santa Claus will visit tables and talk to children about their Christmas dreams, and little ones may sit on Santa's lap and have a photo made for an additional fee. Children under 4 eat for free when accompanied by an adult (limit one complimentary child per adult) while children 4 to 12 enjoy the special buffet for $10.50.
