min has revealed its 21 Most Intriguing People in Media 2010 honorees, all of whom will be honored at a breakfast event on Dec. 9 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. The annual Top 21 list highlights media players who are making waves or embarking on a new, potentially big adventure. In addition to the 21 Most Intriguing People in Media, the Dec. 9 breakfast event will celebrate the Hottest Launches of the Year, the 25 Most Notable Magazine Launches of the Last 25 Years and min’s 15-to-Watch, which shines a light on media up-and-comers.
This year’s 21 Most Intriguing People in Media are comprised of industry leaders who set the gold standard – they’ve taken on new challenges, and, in some cases, have reminded us of their creativity and daring, moving far beyond the call of duty. They are comprised of consumer and b2b magazine executives, digital media leaders and media agency and advertising executives who work closely with magazine brands. “This year’s impressive 21 Most Intriguing People in Media all call to mind a single question: What are they going to do next?” says Steve Goldstein, editorial director of min. “What are they going to do in 2011? That’s what we all want to know—and it’s for that reason that min calls special attention to them.”
The Hottest Magazine Launches of the Year and the 25 Most Notable Magazine Launches of the Past 25 Years will be presented in conjunction with Hottest Launches program partner Samir Husni, the one and only “Mr. Magazine.” At the breakfast, min and Samir will announce the Hottest Launch of the Year as well as the Most Notable Launch of the last 25 years.
