Orlando, FL (PRWEB) November 16, 2010
RealManage announced today that Cynthia Montsinger, Senior Community Association Manager in the Orlando Branch, has joined the Community Advocacy Network, an 11-member Advisory Council for the Community Advocacy Network (CAN).
A not-for-profit, non-partisan organization established in 2007, the Community Advocacy Network (CAN) is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the millions of Floridians who live, work and serve in common interest ownership communities, through education, information and advocacy on behalf of the organization's more than 1,000 member communities across the State of Florida.
In her new capacity as a CAN Advisory Council member, Ms. Montsinger joins 10 other volunteer Council members who help steer the direction of the organization's educational programs for community association Board members and managers, as well as CAN's ongoing efforts to promote and ensure enactment of beneficial legislation impacting the property and lives of residents of Florida condominiums, homeowner associations, cooperatives, timeshare and mobile home communities.
"We are very proud to announce the addition of Cindy Montsinger to the CAN Advisory Council, whose volunteer members have worked tirelessly this past year to help pass important legislation, providing relief for struggling condominium, cooperative and homeowner associations in this difficult economic time," said CAN Executive Director Donna DiMaggio Berger. "Cindy will be a great addition to our statewide team as we continue to advocate on behalf of associations throughout the State and deliver educational programs to Board members and licensed Community Association Managers, including our very successful Board Member Boot Camp Series that allows newly elected and appointed condominium board members to meet the certification requirement enabling them to remain on their Board of Directors."
"I am very pleased to be joining the Community Advocacy Network's Advisory Council and look forward to working with all the members of the Advisory Council team and CAN membership to help build a better and brighter future for community associations statewide," Ms. Montsinger said.
