This high quality quad band (850/900/1800/1900MHz), GPS product was developed with a well defined feature set in mind for multiple vertical markets. Coupled with this carefully designed GPS device, REDTAIL offers a best in class REDTAIL Telematics Protocol (RTP), available in TCP/IP and UDP over GPRS and SMS. In testing since April 2009, VAM is now approved by CE, FCC, PTCRB and multiple carriers. REDTAIL Telematics listened to the requirements of the market and implemented the most commonly asked for features:

•Ability to detect harsh braking and rapid acceleration.
•OBDII integration capability.
•5 Inputs/Outputs.
•Comprehensive software development kit (SDK).
•Internal GSM/GPS antenna with option to use external GPS antenna.
•IP67 offering for harsh fleet environments.
