The “Condado de Haza” Returns to the Wine Cellar of Iberia

The wine menu of Iberia for the months from November to January includes wines of Penedés, Rioja and Ribera del Duero. With regard to white wines you could choose between Somontano and a wine from the La Mancha region of impeccable elaboration.

Iberia, along with Todovino, is recreating the wine menu offered to the clients of the business class of international flights, the Business Plus. From November to January the company will serve once again the wine “Condado de Haza”. The vintage 2006 of this wine that Iberia served aboard the aircraft last year, received the first “Wines of the Wing”, and was considered to be the best wine in Business classes in the world by the prestigious north American magazine “Global Traveller”. As the vintage 2006 is out of stock, the clients of Iberia will have the chance to enjoy the one of 2007.

The wine menu of the Business Plus of Iberia for this quarter includes three authentic heavy weights among the red wines with regard to their region of offer. The three brands were pioneers at their time of a very concrete style: Jean León, en Penedés, the first Spanish cabernet; Conde de Valdemar en Rioja, one of the wines that modernized the attitude towards wine in this region as it adds more fruits and structure; Condado de Haza, en Ribera del Duero, a manor wine which is left to settle in the barrel, as its creator, Alejandro Fernández, considered necessary.

The clients of Iberia, the leader of “vuelos baratos”, do not only enjoy these wines aboard the Iberia aeroplanes and in the VIP saloons of the company in the T4, but they also have a cellar master that informs them personally about the characteristics of each wine. The magazine “Ronda Iberia”, included their own wine menu, and “Canal Ronda” also offer much information about the chosen brands.
