Brightree Showcases Release 24 at Medtrade

New features give Brightree customers distinct business advantages in today’s competitive reimbursement climate.

Brightree LLC, the leading provider of business management solutions for the HME/DME market, will showcase Brightree Release 24 innovations at Medtrade 2010 in Atlanta, Nov. 15-18, in booth #1338. More than 1,300 providers depend on Brightree today to help automate and improve how they manage their business.

Demonstrations of the following Release 24 features will be featured in the Brightree booth #1338:

  • Product Profitability Analyzer: Brightree’s integrated Product Profitability Analyzer gives providers the ability to understand the potential impact of reduced reimbursement rates, whether it is for a competitive bid area or for modeling the effect of different reimbursement rates. In addition, it can be used to better understand the profitability of a single product or group of products. The Analyzer uses the provider’s actual sales and cost of goods sold to instantly calculate gross and net profit reductions.
  • Advanced eligibility verification: Integrated into the core Brightree product are new advanced eligibility verification features that help providers handle reimbursement issues prior to submission, reducing payment delays. Brightree providers can now automatically verify eligibility in real-time or batch mode for patients who have recurring monthly invoices. In addition, providers can check Medicare Same or Similar status.
  • Integrated electronic purchasing: Brightree providers can now place drop ship orders with Invacare Supply Group (ISG) directly from Brightree, helping to reduce costs associated with inventory management and distribution. When a purchase order is entered in Brightree, a file is transmitted via a secure FTP connection to the Invacare Supply Group Home Delivery system. The ISG system then communicates back to Brightree, giving providers faster insight into the status of an order.
  • Seamless shipping and tracking: BrightSHIP is a seamless interface to shipping systems like UPS, Fedex and others that eliminates duplicate data entry. It automatically populates sales orders with tracking confirmation numbers, allowing billers to streamline shipping workflow and confirm orders faster.
