Encharter Insurance is proud to announce that they are the 2nd place winner of Insurance Networking News's 2010 INNovators Award in Customer Service. This is the fourth consecutive year that Insurance Networking News (INN) has held this program for recognizing nine companies in the insurance industry for excellence in core systems, customer service and enterprise systems innovations.

Winners in customer service have to demonstrate the use of "front-office technologies and initiatives that successfully attract, retain and drive customer loyalty, satisfaction and retention. (Examples: social media, portals, customer service, distribution, etc.)." In their contest entry, Encharter Insurance showcased their social media strategy as a way of accomplishing these criteria. In order to increase their website ratings with search engines, their Facebook, Twitter, blogging and other social media efforts have helped; but equally important to the agency are the client and prospect relationships that are developed through these venues. By using social media to put a personality behind the agency, their clients and prospects feel less like a number and more like a friend. Encharter Insurance's Operations and Social Media Manager, David Siekman, states: "We are very proud to accept this award. We work hard at being able to continue delivering the traditional customer service our clients have come to expect from us with a more progressive and modern experience in the social media world. Using social media has allowed us to grow while retaining a great client base."
