LEBREL NETWORKS, a provider of mobile internet solutions, today announced the opening of an office in Taipei, Taiwan. The office is headed by Martin Fan and will focus initially on product customization and localization for the world’s key producer of smart phone devices.
According to the industry sources, smart phone market share will grow from 200 million phones in 2010 to more than 500 million phones by 2015. With a strong base in the consumer electronics market, Taiwan manufacturing will play a major role in the engineering, design and mass production of Smart-Phones and Web-Pad devices on mobile data networks.
“The new Taiwan office is our commitment to work with customers who understand and are willing to embrace the delivery of new and innovative services to mobile data users world-wide. This is the very reason why we have brought forward our plans to set up a base in Taiwan” said Arno-Alexander Filbig , CEO of lebrel networks.
Carey Millar, COO of lebrel networks added “As interest builds in what we are doing in the network space we are getting tremendous visibility in the Smart-Phone market. The cost savings we project, which have been proven through extensive testing, will assist operators to meet their customer demands and will help to promote growth to the Smart-Phone market. Now, with our presence in Taiwan, we are strongly positioned to anticipate and quickly respond to the market’s unique requirements and drive our thought leadership.”
Continue to watch this space, as we look to launch in 2011 a consumer offering that will enable all mobile users the ability to double the amount of downloaded information within the same data price plan.
