“Ansell created PowerFlex 80-813 gloves to give workers an extra boost of confidence while working with sharp objects in environments that have the potential for flash fire,” said Don West, Ansell Brand Support Manager. “Our gloves give workers the dexterity and protection they need across a scope of different applications.”
The PowerFlex 80-813 glove is an Arc Flash Hazard Category 1 product with a rating of 5.7 cal/cm2, protecting workers by reducing the risk of receiving second-degree burns from Arc Flash Level 1 incidents. In addition, the gloves feature Ansell’s patented knitted variable stitch design (KVSD) to release tension in high stress zones and ensure an ergonomic fit. The gloves improved ergonomics help achieve less hand fatigue and reduce the possibility of carpal tunnel injuries. A D3 Pinky design also allows a more natural fit for improved comfort.
New PowerFlex 80-813 gloves are ideal in a variety of industries including electric and gas utilities, oil processing and refining, petrochemical, mining, resource manufacturing and construction.
The gloves are available in a range of sizes (6-11) to accommodate the hands of almost any worker. They are machine launderable with minimal shrinking and good recovery, and they hide soil for longer wear and reduced replacement costs.
