“The Amran Shrine Temple greatly appreciates the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin’s donation in support of our community programs, says Sam Vaughan, treasurer, Amran Shrine.
Durham, NC (PRWEB) November 18, 2010
The Amran Shrine’s 19th annual Three Ring Circus is scheduled to be held at the NC Fairgrounds Horse Complex on Nov. 22 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, along with many other local organizations, donated funds to support the efforts of the Amran Shrine organization.
The annual circus is designed to raise funds for, and increase awareness of, Shriners International’s various humanitarian efforts. The main focus of all Shriners International is to support the organization’s 22 Shriners’ Hospitals for children, located throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Children up to age 18 with certain medical conditions, such as orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lips and palates are eligible for care regardless of ability to pay.
The Amran Shrine in Raleigh, NC also provides free transportation for families from the Triangle area of North Carolina to the closest Shriners’ Hospital for Children in Greenville, SC.
The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin’s donation will be used both to support the overall cost of circus event, as well as to distribute 30 free tickets to the circus for those who otherwise would not have a chance to go. Tickets will be distributed through such community organizations as the Autistic Center of Wake Forest, the Durham Rescue Mission and United Cerebral Palsy, as well as local schools, assisted living centers and homeless shelters.
“The Amran Shrine Temple greatly appreciates the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin’s donation in support of our community programs," says Sam Vaughan, treasurer, Amran Shrine.
