KAYWEB Managing Director Haig Kayserian launched KAYWEB, LLC - the United States arm of the Australian website and app development company - in New York City, opening a new office and unveiling a new global logo for the company.
The New York City office, located in the heart of Manhattan - in the Financial Times building on the Avenue of the Americas, is KAYWEB's fourth, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Manila opened at different stages over the last six years.
KAYWEB, LLC, an initiative by Haig and Taline Kayserian, was launched during New York Entrepreneur Week, with the aim to give KAYWEB's entrepreneur clients more global representation and to "be part of the unmatched energy of New York City".
"This is a landmark moment for KAYWEB and the greater KAYWEB family of over 100 clients, most of them entrepreneurs," Haig Kayserian said.
"Since our inception, we have been most attracted to entrepreneurial clients with great ideas. Now with offices in three continents and a significant rolodex of contacts in each, we are able to assist these clients and clients in the future in going global."
He added: "We are also well-positioned to partner with New York startups for their next big project."
Ruth Fortune will be KAYWEB New York's first Administrative Assistant.
At New York Entrepreneur Week, Kayserian was able to share in intimate audiences with founders of multi-billion dollar internet companies, learn stories of their successes and tribulations.
Also, he signed agreements with two New York City startup internet companies during the one-week trip, both in the social media space. They become KAYWEB's first New York City clients and for their projects, KAYWEB will be in charge of website and mobile application strategy planning, project management, design, development and marketing.
"KAYWEB offers excellent knowledge and experience to companies in Australia and we were humbled to quickly learn our expertise was equally appreciated with seasoned entrepreneurs in the United States," Kayserian said.
"We have signed on with two web/mobile app startups and have a few more in the pipeline as a direct result of this marathon trip, which included over 20 meetings in 7 days."
KAYWEB sponsored a cocktail event celebrating New York Entrepreneur Week, where its new logo was unveiled.
KAYWEB, LLC also signed supply and partnership agreements with various U.S. companies, including an online merchant banking arrangement with Chase Bank (owned by JPMorgan Chase).
More information about the newly-acquired KAYWEB projects, and the new structure of the business, will be revealed in coming weeks and months.
