San Diego, CA (PRWEB) November 19, 2010
ARS Technologies, Inc., announces the release and the general availability for purchase from our customers of a new line of products under 'XPRS' name - consisting of 7 products.
Based on PCI Express interface, the new products allow using of peripheral products outside of computer systems, through cables.
When we started developing this line of products, we had the choice to start releasing products one by one, or to accumulate products before release.
We did choose to keep building the XPRS line and then release multiple products at the same time for the dramatic impact it creates.
Since the products are interconnected with each other, when presented with the list of products, the user can immediately start making combinations, and cases to apply to.
Currently the XPRS line consists of - host cards, and peripheral cards.
There are 2 host cards:
- xprs-host-dt - mounted on a PCI Express desktop system
- xprs-host-ec - mounted on a notebook system with an ExpressCard slot
And, there are 5 peripheral cards:
- xprs-px-x1 - for using of a PCI Express X1 card
- xprs-px-x16 - for using of a PCI Express X1, X4, X8, X16 card
- xprs-pci-x1 - for using of a PCI card
- xprs-cb - for using of a PCMCIA CardBus card
- xprs-ec - for using of an ExpressCard card
The main page of our web site shows images and links to each of the new products in the XPRS line. The page of each individual product includes a link to a page showing the way of installation and use.
We recommend our users to view this page first - to get the story on the particular product 'in pictures'.
