New Fiber Optic and F.C.C. General Radio-Telephone License Courses Now Available

Termark Technical Institute courses win approval of the Fiber Optic Association and ETA International, Inc.

Termark Technical Institute takes pleasure in announcing that its Fiber Optic Fundamentals, Fiber Optics Premises Installer -Technician Course and it’s Outside Plant Installer/Technician and Designer Course have all been approved by the Fiber Optic Association. These courses prepare the student to sit for the CFOT, ® CPCT and CFospT certifications.

The CFOT ® certification is based on an extensive knowledge of fiber optics technology and application as well as demonstrated skills in appropriate tasks. Most CFOTs work in the industry as contractors or installers. Consultants, network designers, estimators and trainers would also be expected to have such credentials. There are over 30,000 CFOT ® certificate holders.

Secondly, Termark Tech has received notice that the Electronics Technicians Association International (ETA International)(http://www.eta-i.org) has approved our F.C.C. General Radiotelephone Operators License Exam Prep Course for it’s membership.

This three day course will prepare a student to sit for the Federal Communication Commission General Radiotelephone Operators License. The G.R.O.L. is required to operate or service broadcast equipment, work at radio and television stations, maintain aircraft and marine radios, etc. 7 out of 8 of our students pass their first try.
