New kid on the penny auction block, Sell Off Auctions, has decided to expand their customer service program in order to provide people with the best competitive shopping experience available on the Internet.
“We've studied the penny auction market and realized that where most of our competition fails is in the customer service department,” Josh, a company spokesman said. “We want to be a different type of company where our customers know we care about their questions and concerns.”
Sell Off Auctions is a penny auction company. That means that people pay $179 to sign up and then are given a package of bids they can spend on auctions for popular consumer goods. Each time they place a bid, the price goes up by a penny and time is added to the clock. The last person to place a bid gets to buy the product at the final price.
“Because penny auctions are so new, they are confusing to some people,” Josh said. “And because we are so new, we may have a technical glitch from time to time. We want to make sure that all of those questions and concerns are immediately addressed so that customers can have complete consumer satisfaction.”
At Sell Off Auctions, people can get answers to their questions online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. People who would rather talk to a customer service representative on the phone can call up the company’s North American customer service staff on the phone during the day seven days a week.
“We've also created a Customer Satisfaction Refund for anyone who tries our services and decides that penny auctions are simply not for them,” Josh said. “We know that penny auctions are not for everyone.”
The Customer Satisfaction Refund is available for anyone who has been using the site for less than 30 days and not won a single auction. Those people simply have to go and download and print off a simple form. Once that form has been filled out and sent back to Sell Off Auctions, their refunds will be processed.
“The number of people who ask for refunds is very small,” Josh said. “But we respect those who do. You can't please all of the people all of the time, but you can make sure that if someone doesn't like your service, they don't have to pay for it.”
Sell Off Auctions representatives said they plan to announce more customer service initiatives in the near future.
“We will continue to expand our customer service until it is the best in the business,” Josh said.
