Popular FedEx application provides new level of customer service on salesforce.com’s AppExchange, the world’s most-popular marketplace for business application. ISV momentum on Force.com builds as Dreamforce 2010 approaches.

ZenKraft today announced customer Arteriocyte Medical Systems has completed a companywide rollout of ZenKraft Shipmate, the five-star rated app that integrates FedEx shipping data with Salesforce Chatter. Built using Force.com, the enterprise cloud computing platform, Shipmate is immediately available for test drive and deployment on AppExchange 2 at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange/.

The latest version of Shipmate works with Chatter, allowing users to follow crucial shipments and retrieve real-time shipping alerts. The combination eliminates the need to copy and paste tracking numbers to http://www.fedex.com, boosting productivity and accuracy.

ZenKraft will be attending Dreamforce 2010, the cloud computing event of the year, at Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco December 6 – 9, 2010.

"The latest version of Shipmate delivers the flexibility we need to communicate shipping details to the field," said Jerry Keefe, director of sales operations at Arteriocyte. "We added licenses to gain visibility across the company -- allowing the team to follow the shipments related to their customers. As a result, critical information gets to the field in real-time. And the added benefit of Chatter has increased our collaboration within our business and with Shipmate."

“Customers are looking to increase productivity from the collaborative and real-time benefits of Cloud 2,” said Kendall Collins, chief marketing officer at salesforce.com. “ZenKraft Shipmate is a perfect example of a Cloud 2 app. It takes FedEx Shipping and makes it real-time, mobile and social for business. This creates a bigger win for our mutual customers.”

ZenKraft's CEO, Zeel Jadia added, "It's been a pleasure working with Jerry and his team at Arteriocyte. It's amazing for us seeing how our customers are using our product in new and innovative ways. Because Shipmate was built natively on Force.com, Arteriocyte can add extensive customization through point-and-click functionality. No code is required.”
