American Fork, UT (PRWEB) November 22, 2010
Excel Eye Center of Lehi, Utah, is asking the local community to donate their old glasses at the Lehi office to make a difference in the quality of life for people in rural areas and 3rd world nations. With your donation, you will be given the gift of a FREE Eye Exam by a board certified opthalmologist, Aaron D Smalley, MD.
Dr. Smalley knows that every pair of glasses counts, so to encourage donation, he will provide a free eye exam to the first 50 glasses donations, and 25% off any optical purchase for all donations beyond the first 50. (Some restrictions apply, visit http://www.exceleyecenter.com for complete details.)
“Helping others to see is a miracle. When a person has gone a lifetime without sight and puts on glasses for the first time, tears of joy are common,” shares Dr. Smalley, ophthalmologist at Excel Eye Center of Lehi.
Dr. Smalley is no stranger to service. He has spent time in Argentina providing humanitarian aid and knows that by gathering old glasses many will be blessed with vision on his future humanitarian trips.
Glasses can be donated until December 31, 2010 at Excel Eye Center 220 North 1200 E Suite 101 in Lehi (west of Lowe’s and Costco). Call 801-341-6200 or visit http://www.exceleyecenter.com for more donation information.
