Military veterans include well-trained, highly motivated, and diverse job seekers, many with a Department of Defense security clearance. Thousands of military members stationed in the Washington DC area separate and retire every year from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, and would like to stay in the vicinity. The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce services the communities of Springfield, Burke, Fairfax Station, Franconia, Kingstowne, Laurel Hill, Lorton Station, and Newington. Located just outside the Washington DC beltway, the area is increasing in density at its core but retains great suburban communities to live, work and play.

The Chamber represents more than 250 employers, and this free service makes it easier for small companies to be “military friendly" because there is no cost to post their job opportunities on this military-niche employment site. Discounts are also available to Chamber members that want to search for resumes of military veterans.

The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce has been serving the greater Springfield area since 1957. Its Veterans Committee focuses on ways the Chamber might support veterans in our community, our workforce and as entrepreneurs. http://springfield VA.corporategray.com
