Touro University Worldwide (TUW) was welcomed in grand fashion during a reception and ribbon cutting sponsored by the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. The university headquarters was packed with students, faculty, staff and local area members, all supporting Touro, its groundbreaking launch and its announcement of a special opportunity for a “100 New Students in the Next 100 Days.”
“This is a milestone day for Touro University Worldwide and higher education,” said Dr. Bernard Luskin, CEO and Senior Provost of Touro University Worldwide. “We are committed to making higher education a feasible, realistic goal that can be directly applied to real world experiences.” Luskin is a life-long learner, educator, and two-time Emmy award winner for educational documentary telecourse production.
“Touro University Worldwide views learning as a gateway to lifetime success and is thrilled to be a part of the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce,” continued Luskin. “We offer opportunity to earn a graduate degree in a convenient and affordable way. For the next 100 new students in the next 100 Days, Touro will offer a 40% scholarship towards tuition and fees for the first 100 qualified students,” he said.
