Presented by Bounty Hunter & Featuring Winemakers Jean-Charles Boisset, Heidi Barrett, Randall Grahm, Aaron Pott and Dozens of Others, the 2nd Annual San Francisco Vintners Market Brings Wine Country Tasting Rooms to the City on November 20-21, 2010

San Francisco Vintners Market presented by Bounty Hunter, the only “Try It and Buy It” farmers market style shopping experience, returns to Fort Mason Center in San Francisco on November 20th and 21st. San Francisco Vintners Market, the first of its kind farmers market for wineries, brings California’s Wine Country to an urban location and allows wine enthusiasts to taste and buy wines from over 200 wineries on the spot. Started by wine industry professionals, the event was created to address a common wine festival grievance: discovering great new wines and then never being able to find them again.

“SF Vintners Market is unique in that it caters to both consumers and wineries; It’s a great way for wine lovers to taste dozens of wines and then stock up just before the holidays, plus it gives wineries a chance to interact directly with their buyers and sell to a new customer base,” said Cornelius Geary, Founder of San Francisco Vintners Market.

San Francisco Vintners Market will feature top wineries from Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara, Russian River Valley and other regions, plus a selection of imported wines from around the world. Wines will be featured at all price points and styles including new releases, library collections and end-of-vintage specials—all available for immediate purchase. Many wineries are returning, after participating in the inaugural SF Vintners Market in April which hosted over 7,000 wine loving consumers over two days.

“For a winemaker or proprietor, San Francisco Vintners Market is a rare opportunity to meet and connect directly with an enthusiastic urban audience who are all there to taste our wines,” said Jean-Charles Boisset, President of Boisset Family Estates. “We were so thrilled with the overwhelming interest at the first event, that we wanted to return to offer more wines and specials to help wine lovers stock up for all the holiday parties,” continues Boisset. Boisset Family Estates will be offering wines from namesake label JCB as well as Raymond Vineyards in Napa and DeLoach Vineyards in the Russian River Valley. They join many other wineries who will be offering direct access to unique day-of-event wine special offerings.

“We’re excited to again be a part of San Francisco Vintners Market. It’s a great addition to the popular wine tastings and festivals in San Francisco and offers consumers the ability to make direct buys the weekend of the event. This is finally an event where we can easily answer tasters’ questions when they ask where they can actually buy the wine,” said Mark Pope, Founder of Bounty Hunter Wines.

Additional key partners to San Francisco Vintners Market include Wine and Spirits Magazine, JAQK Cellars, Hatch, Debbie Douglas Designs, Monvera, Courtesan Wines, Square and Kara’s Cupcakes.
