Using a 250-ton crane, LivingHomes Is Assembling a New Three-home Multifamily Residence in Just Two Days. It's like Legos for Grown-ups!

Watching a modern prefabricated home come together is an incredibly visual storytelling opportunity, as the home literally goes from foundation to a livable home within a day.

Today using a 250-ton crane, LivingHomes will assemble a new three-home multifamily residence in Los Altos onsite in just a few hours! Designed by iconic California architect Ray Kappe, FAIA, and featuring some of the most high performance sustainable building materials available, this new LivingHome is expected to receive LEED Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, the first in Los Altos and one of the few in California.

What:        

Your cameras will capture the 8 modules which make up the newest LivingHome arriving by truck and then being assembled into a home. Each module is installed using at 250-ton crane, and the entire residence will be assembled within the two-day period. (if you are picturing a giant Lego structure, you are on the right track).
