On Sunday, November 21st, Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Los Angeles will be unveiling a brand new playground.

6-year-old Tiffany Miranda or “Tiffy” will be surprised to see her new play set come to life in front of her family and friends. Tiffy is a remarkable and brave child that cooperates with her doctors. She understands the medical procedures and has never fought with any of the medical staff when needing to draw blood or receiving her injections.

Her condition restricts her from many extracurricular activities, but it doesn’t stop her from having fun and living her life. Tiffy has a variety of interests and hobbies. Her favorite color is blue and she likes to swim. She collects teddy bears, loves animals, enjoys music, and has a passion for role playing.

She resides in Santa Fe Springs, California with her parents and two younger brothers. Her wish is about to come true when she is presented with a new play set before her eyes. The brand new and complete play set will consist of swings, slides, and a club house. The play set will be installed on state of the art artificial grass that has been kindly donated by SGW (Synthetic Grass Warehouse). Tiffy plans on wearing a costume during the event to showcase her role playing talents on her new play set.

Synthetic Grass Warehouse is a manufacturer and supplier of artificial grass nationwide. They offer the latest in synthetic grass technology for commercial and residential functions. The installation of the artificial turf will begin Thursday, November 18th by David Vega, a professional installer from O.C. Turf and Putting Greens.

Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Greater Los Angeles has made wishes come true for more than 7,100 children with life-threatening medical conditions. Founded in 1983, it serves children in Los Angeles County, enriching their lives with hope, strength, and joy.
