“As far as I know, nothing like Charity Affairs has ever existed, but it deals directly with issues that do exist“

Charity Affairs is a new website solely designed to promote charitable events and provide solutions by utilizing one simple method…building a nonprofit community with a centralized nonprofit calendar at its core. A wonderful byproduct of this social network is that the community ends up creating a phenomenal “It List” of hotspots around the area that taps into an entirely new market of people who would not normally be participating in nonprofit activities and events. It solves their problem by providing excellent “date night” activities while bringing scores of new attendees to the charities and fundraisers.

What started out as a personal credo has now become the very mission of this company. Where compassion meets action is not just a byline, it’s the very foundation of Charity Affairs and the woman who founded it. Jenn Bragg’s motto, “I was always taught to help others,” has morphed into a new thriving website. “After years of volunteering, charity work, and fundraising efforts, I created Charity Affairs to help others and hopefully leave things better than I found them," states Bragg.

“As far as I know, nothing like Charity Affairs has ever existed, but it deals directly with issues that do exist," continued Bragg, “Philanthropists are ending their evenings disappointed with the turnout and lack of awareness for their events. On the other end of the spectrum, friends and couples are always looking for something unique to do. While volunteers and participants struggle with finding accurate information for events of interest. Charity Affairs fills the needs of these groups by merging them together."

Simplicity spearheads the fact that organizations can list their fundraising events for free and interested parties can quickly know what fundraising events are transpiring. This consolidation eliminates double-booking and allows volunteers and participants to find information while increasing exposure to more events. This simplicity paves a way to tap into a new market of participants; those wondering, “What do we do tonight?” finally get their answer.

And the benefits don’t stop there! Charity Affairs has a long-term strategic plan to use this nonprofit calendar as more than just a calendar, but a nonprofit social network. A nonprofit community created to share ideas and information, find event resources, provide event coverage, event feedback and event reviews.
