All of the companies here today are looking to enter or expand in the U.S. market. It is our sincerest hope that all our exporters walk away from this experience with new business partners or at least a better understanding of the U.S. market
Miami, FL (PRWEB) November 23, 2010
The Brazilian Association of Food and Beverage Exporters and Importers (ABBA) and APEX Brasil, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, joined resources to once again bring the Ethnic Brazil: Brazilian Flavors campaign to the 2010 America’s Food and Beverage Show. The campaign consisted of a week of events planned around the major trade/expo with the aim of bringing Brazilian food manufacturers and major buyers from the U.S. and around the world together. The main event, the 2010 America’s Food and Beverage Show was held in the Miami Beach Convention Center on October 26-27, 2010; To watch all the video footage from the week of events please visit: http://www.youtube.com/AJRPartners .
The campaign kicked off with a cocktail reception where the Brand Representatives mingled and were introduced to the buyers and distributors. The reception was followed by a successful roundtable event at the Miami Beach Convention Center. At this event, participants were able to follow up on the introductions and connections made at the cocktail reception with a sit-down, one-on-one meeting with new potential business partners.
“All of the companies here today are looking to enter or expand in the U.S. market. It is our sincerest hope that all our exporters walk away from this experience with new business partners or at least a better understanding of the U.S. market," said Raquel de Almeida Salgado, Executive President of A.B.B.A.
The 2010 America’s Food and Beverage Show was a great success for all of the companies involved. Both, at the private events and at the expo, buyers and distributors showed a great interest in Brazilian food products.

The Brazilian Association of Food and Beverage Exporters and Importers was created eight years ago with the mission of defending the interests of small- and medium-sized food and beverage companies. One of its main characteristics is to open up channels and develop business opportunities for its associate members, in order to expand and encourage international trade of their products.
With this goal in mind, it creates and implements commercial projects that are excelling due to the creation of opportunities for Brazilian companies abroad. It supplies companies with legal information and tools for exporting in potential consumer markets, giving them all the support needed to comply with the requirements of the external market. Similarly, A.B.B.A. also works on behalf of its food and beverage import partners, giving them all the necessary updates on the regulations in effect in Brazil, as well as legal and market support to enable them to obtain the performance expected from the products imported, which produces a positive impact on the Brazilian market.
