November 25, Thanksgiving day from 11-2pm aboard a Mayflower truck donated by Secor Group, hundreds of DC area first responders (firemen, policemen, hospital workers, and others) will be served a traditional thanksgiving meal by Four Seasons Hotel Staff. The" MayFlower" will be located at 2800 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW in Georgetown.

The Secor Group–120 year old a global mobility, logistics and transportation company headquartered in Washington, DC - will help feed 300 plus D.C. policemen, firefighters, emergency room workers aboard a 53- foot Mayflower trailer on Thursday, November 25, 2010 from 11am to 2:00 pm. The “MayFlower” will be decorated with wall paintings and white linen tables set with silver and china. Four Seasons Hotel staff dressed as pilgrims and Indians will help prepare and serve some of DC’s finest public servants as a token of appreciation for their service.

For more than a decade, the Secor Group has upheld this thanksgiving tradition of providing “the Mayflower” trailer and helping to serve a thanksgiving meal to area first responders required to work on a national holiday otherwise spent with family and friends. Since 2000, when this Secor Group/Four Seasons Hotel thanksgiving tradition was born, first responders have arrived for dinner by foot, on horseback, and by motorcycle and truck.

The MayFlower will arrive at 8:30 am to begin the transformation from trailer to Thanksgiving day dining room with a meal of turkey, ham, roast beef, sweet potatoes, cranberry, stuffing and more. Thanksgiving meals will be served from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm just outside of the Four Seasons Hotel Washington, 2800 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW in Georgetown aboard the Mayflower. Christian Clerc, Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Four Seasons will personally assist in meal service.

In addition to serving 300 meals on site, first responders are also able to obtain “to go” meals for colleagues not able to leave their post of duty. Last year, more than 450 meals were provided to area first responders.
