The founder and President of Summit Learning Company, John Kresky is an 18-year software and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry veteran. Since 2002 has been focused on leading the growth in companies focused on the public and education sectors. Prior to his current role at Summit, he was the SVP of Sales and Marketing at Study Island (Archipelago Learning), a leading provider of on-line educational solutions. During his time with Study Island, John led an 85 person sales and marketing team that grew the subscriber base to over 20,000 schools and 10 million students in all 50 states. During his career he has held executive level positions including senior sales, marketing, business development, and general management positions in both public and privately held companies. His experience also includes the successful IPO of a Private Equity backed company and the sale of a Venture Capital backed company.

Kresky currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Carroll Education Foundation based in Southlake, TX and is an Advisory Board Member of Coleman Independent Equity Research Group based in New York. He has a BA in Business Administration from Gettysburg College and an MBA from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management.
