William Byrd's decision to hire YouTube skin care gurus, such as Gregory Gorgeous, HRH Collection, and Tanya Burr has brought a storm of lucrative sales for Swedish Skin, since its launch in July. The official Swedish Skin Facebook page has accumulated well past 2,000 followers. With the new holiday prices, Swedish Skin is gaining even more momentum, with an average of eighty sales per day. Swedish Skin CEO William Byrd became passionate about skin care products as a teenager when he began reading Gentleman's Quarterly. Byrd developed a penchant for luxury items, but he was perpetually disappointed with most skin care lines.
"The packaging of most high-end skin cream lines may look beautiful on the outside, but they’re all the same run-of-the mill on the inside. With my Swedish Skin creams, you get results. I put my heart and soul into developing these eleven Swedish Skin products, and I wouldn't sell anything that I wouldn't use on myself. My products are the best on the market. No question." The twenty-three year old entrepreneur says confidently.
In the beginning months of running Swedish Skin, William Byrd was his sole employee. Byrd was swamped with the daunting task of processing and shipping all orders, and hadn't been on vacation in over a year. But now, Byrd has hired a team of virtual assistants, and product shippers, a process which he had read about in one of his favorite books, The 4-Hour Workweek.
Swedish Skin is now selling bulk orders to local spas and beauty stores. William Byrd’s next plan of action is to sell Swedish Skin products in luxury department stores around the world. Swedish Skin products are available to order from swedishskin.com.
