A revolution in social gaming has just arrived via a new venture called CausePlay. Perched at the intersection of social games and social good, CausePlay will launch several social games in the marketplace in 2011 that integrate a worthy nonprofit and their cause into the game, raising funds every time the end user plays.

The company will launch their freshman game in January, called Hospitopia. For Hospitopia, CausePlay has aligned with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals whose mission is to save the lives of children by raising funds and awareness for children's hospitals and foundations throughout North America. CausePlay will donate 10% of all game revenue to the organization for the life of the game.
Within each game, CausePlay will offer unique marketing and branding opportunities for advertisers. CausePlay calls the technique Cause Integration. The company is confident their model will lead the social gaming 2.0 revolution by adding unique features that drive user interaction and viral growth.

CausePlay has three additional games currently in production, each funding a different cause and set to enter the marketplace throughout 2011. Additionally, the company will launch a promotion via Facebook in March asking the public to vote on a nonprofit or cause they would like to see the company create a game concept for in 2012.
