Joliet, IL (PRWEB) November 25, 2010
Collision Revision, a member of the National Auto Body Council (NABC), has made a commitment to participate in a nationwide vehicle donation program called Recycled Rides. This program is a community awareness project whereby members of NABC repair and donate recycled vehicles to families in need.
“Our goal is to help people in our local community,” states RJ D’Orazio, Chief Operations Officer of Collision Revision. “We’re proud that our staff has gotten involved and really feel a part of this important project.”
Greg Mosher, Body Technician adds: “I think it’s important to give back to the community. The time and effort I put into repairing this vehicle is next to nothing when you think about the impact the result will make on someone’s life. I’m happy to be a part of this.”
LKQ Corporation has stepped up to the plate to help in the effort, providing donations of parts and Sherwin Williams has donated paint products for the vehicle. “We could not have gotten this far on the project without the help of our staff and our vendors,” says RJ D’Orazio. “We’re proud of all of them and are certainly looking forward to the donation ceremony on December 22, 2010.”
Donna Santoro, CEO of Leyden Family Services is excited to see how much progress has been made getting the vehicle back into shape. “The person who will be receiving this vehicle is very excited,” says Donna. “They are looking forward to having transportation that will enable them to get to and from work and run the kind of daily errands that most of us take for granted. We’re helping them with all the related details, including registration and insurance. It takes a lot of people working together to pull this off. Everyone at Collision Revision has been so helpful.”
