Santa Claus has been spotted for the first time this year in Gatlinburg, Tenn. With the holiday season approaching, Santa took a break and went ziplining in the Smoky Mountains before beginning his Christmas work. Video footage including an .mov or .mpg file can be downloaded.
Santa enjoyed the wide variety of winter attractions offered by Gatlinburg, including Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort and Amusement Park, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies and the Gatlinburg Sky Lift. The City also features events throughout the winter season including Gatlinburg’s Winter Magic Celebration, Fantasy of Lights Parade and the New Year’s Eve ball drop and fireworks.
