Washington, DC (PRWEB) November 25, 2010
America's leading organization for the promotion and advocacy of flossing - offers a video challenge for this year's National Flossing Day (NFD) to promote "The Joy of Flossing." The National Flossing Council encourages people across the country to begin producing a video on the day after Thanksgiving -- Friday, November 26th, 2010 -- to share their flossing fun in a version of "The Flossies Bergere."
Making today's announcement was National Flossing Council President Armand Lione, who said: "To help America celebrate the Joy of Flossing, we're offering prizes for the most popular video made in the spirit of 'The Flossies Bergere,' which we've posted on YouTube. Have flossing fun with friends and post your video response as soon as possible." Full details of the video challenge can be found on http://www.flossing.org.
This is the 10th anniversary of National Flossing Day. During the last decade, the focus of NFD has ranged from floss etiquette to the presentation of our media award, The Flossy, to Ellen DeGeneres, who has done a lot to promote flossing! For NFD 2007, the Flossing Council requested that McDonald's restaurants begin offering individual packs of floss with each of its meals. National Flossing Day 2009 had the theme "Floss With a Friend."
