UK digital agency Armcom has announced its upgraded status of official Umbraco Developer certification. The official certification bolsters Armcom’s existing eCommerce and web development services, whilst bringing this leading UK digital agency closer to achieving a revered status of Umbraco Solutions Provider in 2011.

Armcom are now certified Umbraco developers

"... [we] are confident that by the end of the first quarter of 2011 we will be just one of a handful of British companies that are recognised as a certified Umbraco Solutions Provider."

UK digital agency Armcom today announced that it has achieved Umbraco Level 2 certification, bolstering its provision of flexible content management systems. The Umbraco Level 2 certification means that Umbraco now officially recognises Armcom as approved Umbraco developers.

In order to achieve the certification, having completed the Level 1 Umbraco Administrator course and exam, developers must then attend an additional 2 day intensive course, followed by an exam. On passing the Level 2 exam, Armcom immediately became recognised certified developers, moving the full service digital agency just one step away from becoming a fully-fledged Umbraco Solutions Provider.

“Armcom is committed to achieving Umbraco Solutions Provider status by the first quarter of 2011," said Armcom partner Lee Messenger. “To accomplish this, we will be enrolling more of our developers on the Umbraco courses and are confident that by the end of the first quarter of 2011 we will be just one of a handful of British companies that are recognised as a certified Umbraco Solutions Provider. It’s certainly an exciting prospect for us as an agency, as well as our clients who will undoubtedly benefit from an enriched service.”

Umbraco is a powerful open-source web content management system that runs on a Microsoft-based infrastructure.
