About the Interfaith Nutrition Network:
The Interfaith Nutrition Network (INN) started in 1983 as a small soup kitchen in Hempstead, New York to help the hungry and homeless people of Long Island. As word about this soup kitchen spread, more communities on Long Island began to open them as well. There are a total of 19 operating soup kitchens on Long Island that are associated with the INN and is the largest private social service agency of its kind on Long Island.
