Smart&Co also known as Smartbox is furthering its online presence in the U.S. by leveraging Sogifty Publishing, LLC’s Internet business, known to consumers under the Giftybox brand. With this online distribution agreement, Smartbox consolidates its reach on the U.S consumer gift market.

Founded in 2004 by Nicolas Caillens and Jerome Chasques, Sogifty Publishing pioneered the launch of experiential gift boxes in the United States. Initially launched in New York City, the concept rapidly spread nationwide to include all major U.S metropolitan areas and beyond.

Sogifty Publishing will keep full control of its corporate business entity (http://www.sogifty.com), which develops and manufactures a wide range of customer acquisition, retention and other marketing and public relations tools to meet the needs of U.S. corporations. Their clients include: Condé Nast Publications, Time Warner, Inc. and Getty Images, among others.

Smartbox is the worldwide leader in experiential gift packages with revenues of more than $500M in 2009. Smartbox is present in over 20 countries and has been gaining considerable market share in the U.S. by promoting a wide range of gift experience products, including the brand new ZAGAT-cobranded “SMARTBOX Table For Two”.
