Indie music label LawTunes (http://www.LawTunes.com) introduced and defined the unique genre of humorous, attorney-created "Legal Holiday Rock". Its new sixth lawyer holiday gift album, "Yule Hear From Our Lawyers," carries on that tradition, with a bunch of new rockin' songs that good-naturedly take on the law, lawyers, and legal practice.
As composed, recorded, and produced by practicing litigation attorney Lawrence Savell, the songs incorporate a broad spectrum of popular/classic rock-and-roll styles -- a mix of full-bore rock anthems and introspective ballads -- seasoned with spirit, sentiment, and humor, all from the unique legal perspective. In the mountain of cookie-cutter holiday offerings there is certainly nothing else like it.
The tunes include Legal Holiday, Bluebook Christmas, Lay Down The Law, Second Seat Santa, Snow Justice, Christmas For Lawyers, and the title track, Yule Hear From Our Lawyers.
LawTunes' efforts are dedicated to the proposition that lawyers' zealous representation of clients and furtherance of the public good can be only enhanced by a healthy willingness of lawyers to poke fun at themselves appropriately on occasion. They contribute to the effort to make people think a little differently about lawyers, and show that attorneys are not necessarily humorless, boring, or incapable of self-deprecation (success on at least the last item is guaranteed).
Like LawTunes five prior albums, the new CD is available at http://www.LawTunes.com (both solo or all six in partnership as the "LawTunes Civil Six-Pack"). The album makes a great (and affordable) holiday gift for lawyers, law students, paralegals, and all other law firm or corporate or governmental legal department personnel -- and the people who know, work with, and/or love them.
And it's all perfectly legal.
Further information, cover scans, and a medley of song clips are available at http://www.LawTunes.com.
