Customers were encouraged to send in photos of their HotSpring hot tubs in their home settings, with prizes for the best images in different categories, such as 'best winter scene', 'best garden design', 'most scenic location' and so on, as well as an overall winner. The generous prize fund consisted of over £1,000 worth of hot tub and spa accessories, as well as credit to spend at HotSpring World.

The public responded well and got into the spirit of the contest, with almost 100 entries showing hot tubs and spas in a wide variety of settings including gardens large and small. The pictures were judged by the HotSpring World showroom staff. Picking the winners was a tough task, according to HotSpring World's Lynda Smart, who said, “It just goes to show how proud everyone is of their hot tub and it makes it feel like we have quite a ‘family’ out there!”

In the end, though, the winning entries in each category were picked, with first place honours going to Mr. M of Royston, for an excellent night-time shot of his HotSpring Soverign spa. He received prizes worth over £500, with the different category winners each getting prizes worth £100. The broad cross section of entries illustrates that increasing numbers of people are purchasing hot tubs and spas for their homes and gardens, for a wide variety of reasons. For most customers a hot tub is a luxury leisure item, primarily for relaxation, while some are mainly interested in the health benefits and the therapeutic value of a spa.
